The single purpose of the CareerPilot · Auto-Apply extension is to detect relevant job postings on supported career websites and automate repetitive applicant form submission using candidate-provided details.

We collect and process the following categories of data solely to provide these services:

• Candidate Profile Information: Name, email address, phone number, current title, location, LinkedIn/GitHub links, and resume experience provided by you.
• Authentication Data: Encrypted session tokens used to synchronize your extension actions with your account dashboard.
• Job Posting Metadata: Job titles, employer names, and listing URLs on pages where you trigger the extension to save or auto-fill an application.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not track your general browsing history or monitor websites unrelated to supported job application pages.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to data brokers or advertising networks.
• We do not execute remote or untrusted code in the extension.

4. How Data is Used & Transferred

Your data is used strictly to autofill application forms on supported portals (such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Foundit, Hirist, Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby) when initiated by you, and to record application milestones on your private pipeline dashboard.

All data transmissions between the extension, our servers, and external career boards are conducted over encrypted HTTPS connections utilizing TLS protocols.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

You retain full control over your data. You may update or delete your profile information, job preferences, and application history at any time through the Account settings in the dashboard. Uninstalling the browser extension immediately removes all locally stored extension tokens.

The CareerPilot extension strictly adheres to the Google Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the Limited Use and User Data privacy requirements.
